Ep 100: Cody Schwartz - Hunting South Africa 3 Years In A Row
Tuesday Oct 21, 2025
Tuesday Oct 21, 2025
There really is no right time to hunt Africa, if you want to go you will find a way, if you do not then you will find an excuse.
My guest on today's episode is Cody Schwartz from Roswell NM, and after deciding to book a hunt in South Africa at an SCI show, he enjoyed it so much he made plans to go back every year, each time bringing one of his family members.
Cody shares some great stories about the animals he was targeting, as well as some valuable info for anyone considering booking their first trip.
If you would like to reach out to Cody and ask him a few questions or just chat about hunting in Africa, you can do so by sending him an email below:

Ep 99: Pesky Agents
Tuesday Oct 14, 2025

If you are a hunting Outfitter that operates not only in South Africa, but anywhere in Africa, then you will agree with this statement. "There is always someone out their looking to take their slice of your cake"
In this episode, I talk about some of my experiences with agents, reps, wanna be agents and some just down right sneaky dirty lying agents.
If you want to hear more of these stories, then reach out to me or leave your request as a comment on Spotify or a rating on Apple Podcasts.

Thursday Oct 09, 2025
My guest on the latest episode is Devin from Kansas City and we had a great chat, covering all sorts of topics from how he chose his outfitter, bringing over your own rifle, the importance of not sticking to a list, trusting yourself to pull of a quick 'hail Mary' shot, plus Devin gave some fantastic advice for those planning their first trip to Africa.
If you are enjoying these episodes and getting some value out of them, then do me a massive favour and take a few seconds to leave a review and rating on Apple podcasts and Spotify. Thanks!

Ep 97: Stuart & Kayla - Hunting Together In South Africa
Wednesday Sep 24, 2025
Wednesday Sep 24, 2025
Easily one of the more frequent questions I was asked when booking hunts for clients, was "Can I bring my spouse and what will they do?" It is a fair question and while I would list off numerous non-hunting activities they could do, I knew deep down that 95% of the time the significant other would tag along on the hunts and have the time of their life.
In this episode we get to dive in a little deeper to this scenario as I am joined by Stuart and Kayla from Missouri, who recently returned from a hunting trip to South Africa. Now while Kayla didn't hunt on this trip...she did admit that she wouldn't be missing out on the chance to pull the trigger on their next safari.
Enjoy and please remember to rate and review this podcast.

Ep 96: Trevor Oertel - Pushing Back Against The Misinformation
Monday Sep 08, 2025
Monday Sep 08, 2025
Trevor Oertel is a man that we as hunters should be throwing our full support behind and sharing his messages far and wide. I have been following Trevor for a good few years now and I have always enjoyed reading his articles, opinion pieces and his push back against the misinformation, lies and false accusations that are published against hunters in main stream media.
I had a good chat with Trevor as he shared in his insights into the research his does for his articles, the support people like him and many others need from the greater hunting community and most importantly that we as outdoorsman no longer need to roll over and take the BS that animal-rights slacktivists publish about hunting, it's time to push back.

Ep 94: The Misguided Mob
Thursday Aug 14, 2025
Thursday Aug 14, 2025
This episode will simply be a reading from a post made on facebook about the tragic loss of a fellow hunter, that was tragically killed while on safari in South Africa and how the misguided mob that is the anti-hunters responded in the most sickening of ways.

Ep 93: Evil High Fence Hunters
Friday Aug 08, 2025
Friday Aug 08, 2025
Ok folks, the time has come to finally put this debate to bed. Hunting behind high fences, is it right or wrong? Does it have a place in the hunting industry? Should we feel bad about hunting high fence ranches or should we be promoting more free range properties?
Well, it's about time I throw my 2 cents into the mix and I have a couple of points to make that will have you second guessing the next time someone mentions "ethics" and "high fences" in the same sentence. So...Let's Go!
Hope you enjoy!

Ep 91: Bushveld Communists
Sunday Jul 20, 2025
Sunday Jul 20, 2025
This episode delivers a wild and humorous dive into why the baboon is the African bushveld's ultimate communist. We'll explore their chaotic social structures and how their "Great Leap Forward" foraging habits devastate bird populations and crucial plant life, alongside causing millions in damage to industries like timber and agriculture. We'll also expose their cunning "victim" PR campaigns—including those well-meaning "save the baboon" initiatives—even as their bold incursions into human areas lead to property damage and dangerous attacks. Natural predators simply can't control their soaring numbers, making human intervention a critical part of restoring balance.
Enjoy the episode, and remember to Rate & Review!
Cheers
